Labour polls over 1,000 votes in Eggbuckland

Labour's candidate in Eggbuckland has thanked voters for their support. Paul McNamara won the support of over 1,000 people in the local elections on Thursday.

Paul McNamara, Labour candidate for Eggbuckland, said:

I would like to thank everyone who backed my campaign in Eggbuckland. Whether it was getting feedback on Labour's road resurfacing programme or opposing the Tory police cuts I'm grateful to the residents of Eggbuckland. The Tories may have won this time but we polled well and Labour will continue to campaign for the people of Eggbuckland.
