Games and Poker Night

Thomas_Sambrook.pngContinuing our series of fundraising events we have a Poker and Games night at the hall on the 18th November from 7pm.

Dr Tom Sambrook, ex-European poker champion, former TV presenter on Poker Night, and advisor on the Bond film Casino Royale, will be running a poker table for instruction, pleasure, and profit (for Plymouth Labour).

a-game-of-thrones-boardgames.jpgIn addition to the poker there will also be a wide range of the "new wave" of tabletop and social games being played. Find hidden traitors among you in Resistance, build railways across Europe with Ticket to Ride, smuggle illicit wares in Sheriff of Nottingham, or defeat global disease Pandemic.

Easy to play with an emphasis is on lighthearted and interactive fun, these could offer inspiration for new family Christmas games!

After this you'll never have to suffer through bad tempered (and politically incorrect) monopoly again!

Tickets are £5, with proceeds going to the upkeep of the hall. Drinks and snacks will be available, and don't forget to bring some cash for your (poker) chips!
