Labour backs the junior doctors

Plymouth's Labour Council backs the junior doctors in their dispute with the Tory Government. The Government is trying to impose an unsafe and unfair contract on junior doctors. Labour is backing the junior doctors.

In Plymouth, Councillor Tudor Evans, the Leader of Plymouth City Council, has joined junior doctors on the picket lines. In the council chamber Labour councillors have spoken up for junior doctors and back them.

Labour believes that the NHS is at risk with the Tories in power. Their attempts to cut and privatise our health service is putting lives at risk. Junior doctors do an amazing job, work long hours and make a huge contribution to keeping people in Plymouth safe and well.

All three of Plymouth's Tory MPs support the Government and are siding against Plymouth's junior doctors.
