Save Peverell Library Public Meeting

Peverell Library is one of 10 libraries across Plymouth threatened with closure by the Conservative/Ukip Council

At a packed out consultation meeting at Peverell library last Wednesday angry residents gave council officials the clear message that they were not going to take the closure of their library sitting down. Support for the library was unanimous among those who attended, but many are fearful that the Council will not listen even to this strength of local feeling.

At a public meeting on Wednesday 22nd February at Hope Baptist Church all are welcome to plan new events to show the depth of public support of the library, including a mass read-in and book borrowing at the library.

Please come and add your voice and actions to the campaign to save Peverell Library. It has served our community for many years, it is now time for us to rally to it's support.
