My name is Eddie Rennie and I am happy to say that I have been reselected by Sutton and Mount Gould Labour Party to stand as the Labour candidate in this ward.

As someone who was born and lived for many years in and around our ward I have been privileged to have  been able to work with many community groups and residents to represent our ward and be able to make sure the voices of all who live and work in it are heard and if reselect by you will work hard to carry on doing so.

Local Labour Councillor Eddie Rennie has confirmed that a new pedestrian crossing is going in at the end of Lipson Road.

Eddie said, “We knew this was needed from all the people who responded to our manifesto survey, and at our local meetings. The new crossing will be in the old bus bay, so no parking spaces will be lost. It means that people can quickly and safely get to Freedom Fields, and the other way down to the local shop, surgery and Mount Gould Hospital. And it’s brilliant news for kids going to Salisbury Road School.”

Let Eddie know what you think about the crossing! Email him at eddie.rennie@plymouth.gov.uk.
